Thank you for helping RENEW HOPE in YOUR community …

When Greg suffered a stroke a couple of years ago, it left him with a significant stutter -- and a number of hurdles in the way of getting the support that he needed.

“I would call places to get information or help and most of the time they would just hang up,” he said. They didn’t have the patience to listen to him struggle through his words.

But at Reconciliation Services, we work to live into our core value of DIGNITY in any interaction with our neighbors. DIGNITY requires listening, patience, and working to understand. That is exactly what Jaye, Greg’s case manager at RS, offered him. Greg first came to RS to get help with his water bill, but now he is working with Jaye on completing paperwork and making calls for additional benefits.

“Jaye makes me feel like I matter,” Greg said. “I have a lot of trouble with talking to people, but not her.”

Greg said that Jaye has been a godsend. “She is one of the most kind and caring people I have ever met. Thank God I came here for help.”

When you DONATE to RS you ensure our case managers like Jaye are available to listen, support, and encourage neighbors like Greg who may be struggling.

THANK YOU FOR JOINING WITH US IN SUPPORTING NEIGHBORS IN NEED.
